Bank Luna Records IDR 4.7 Billion Profit, Surpasses Target in H1 2025

JAKARTA, July 14, 2025 — Bank Luna reported an encouraging financial performance for the first half of 2025, remaining on track with its Bank Business Plan (RBB) for the year. After closing 2024 with a net profit of IDR 7.4 billion, the bank continued its strong momentum in H1 2025, recording a net profit of IDR 4.7 billion, equivalent to 115.90% of its RBB target of IDR 4 billion.

This achievement reflects the bank’s strengthened governance, robust risk management, and sound strategic and analytical execution. Since its acquisition 2.5 years ago, Bank Luna’s total assets have grown by 1,100%, marking a significant transformation in business scale and reinforcing its competitive position in Indonesia’s banking industry.

In 2025, Bank Luna demonstrated prudent risk management implementation and oversight, in line with its principle of “Sustainably Growing with Quality.” This is evident in its Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio, which remains well-controlled at 2.12%, and its Operating Expense to Operating Income (BOPO) ratio, which stood at 73.6%. Both indicators reflect a strong fundamental position and a disciplined business strategy focused on maintaining asset quality and sustainable profitability.

In 2024, Bank Luna established a Loan Linkage partnership with PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga) valued at IDR 50 billion. Continuing its momentum in H1 2025, the bank achieved another milestone through a strategic partnership with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA). This collaboration will further strengthen Bank Luna’s capacity to expand financing access to the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector, thereby supporting regional economic growth. The partnership is also expected to increase lending volume and reinforce the bank’s liquidity position.

“As we enter the second half of 2025 amid a challenging national economic landscape, we have prepared more measured strategic steps while continuing to uphold prudence,” said Joko Purwanto, President Director of Bank Luna. “Bank Luna will continue to Grow with Quality by focusing financing on productive sectors, particularly SMEs. We remain optimistic that we can move forward with focus, consistency, and clear direction, carefully assessing every opportunity and risk. Bank Luna is committed to growing sustainably and delivering positive contributions to both regional and national economies.”

With a solid foundation, strong people management, strategic collaborations, and a commitment to healthy and quality growth, Bank Luna is optimistic about navigating the second half of 2025 with a spirit of transformation and sustainability, aiming to deliver greater value for customers, partners, and the broader Indonesian economy.
